how to create a table of contents

1. Open Microsoft Word by double clicking on the desktop icon  Ms.Word or start - all programs - Microsoft Office - microsoft Word.
2. Type a sentence or title that will be the table of contents.
3. then given special treatment by way of writing blocks, specify headingnya as shown below:

 

Then the text will be changed to

 
4. then block all the posts and click on the icon multilevel list in the home menu as shown below:









 
The display will appear as follows:

 

5. Click one of the options from the picture above or click define new multilevel list for more detailed settings.
6. If you click define new multilevel list, it will exit the dialog box such as:
 
Set the heading how are we going to change in the "clik level to modify". And also set the box "Enter formatting for number" and the "number style for this level", then click ok. it will come out the result as:


 7. after all been modified, then the fill of each title with the document we want to insert.
8. Set header and footer by double clicking on the bottom or top of the paper, it would appear as:
 
Click footer and display the following:

 
Choose one of the many types you want to use.
9. after that press ctrl + enter to create a page that will be used as a table of contents, on the page do not forget to type the title of "table of contents"
10. then click menu references-table of contents - insert table of contents. it will appear as shown below:
 
11. Do not forget to set the box "formats" to select the type of paper and the box "show levels" to determine the number of headings, and click ok. So the result as:
